* A blade for cutting thin and soft (non-woody) grass or weeds can be attached to the FS 56 RC-E, but using this model to cut thick or hardened brush or saplings is not advised because it has a flexible drive shaft. Users needing to clear brush or saplings should instead use a commercial-grade, straight-shaft model—such as the FS 91 R, FS 111 R or FS 131 R—that has a solid steel drive shaft.
