Kohler engine identification numbers — model, specification and serial — are needed to lookup and order the correct parts or a replacement engine.  These numbers are normally printed on a silver decal affixed to the engine blower housing.  It is best to save this information in case the sticker is damaged or lost.

Kohler makes various models within each series.  Specification numbers identify specific features and variances within a model.
