Melts ice and snow in temperatures down to -15° F. Safer on concrete than rock salt. Contains sodium chloride (NaCl), calcium chloride (CaCl), and magnesium chloride (MgCl2). Should not be used on pre-cast concrete, pre-cast masonry walks or steps, any questionable quality concrete, or new concrete less than one year old.
